On to round 2

Well,
I took another test last night and it came back negative. This morning A/F showed up and now I'm crabby. So, I guess it's back to square one! I'm disappointed but it was our first month of trying and I didn't chart or figure out dates or whatnot. We just kinda went with it. This month I'll try to read my body's signs a bit better and see what happens. If I get preggo this time around I'll be due April 29th of '07. Hope you guys had a good weekend!

Update #2 ( Only me.......)

I think I am the only person on the face of the planet who could fudge up a pregnancy test. I didn't have to pee but figured I'd drank enough to have something come out. Well, I was wrong. The HPT that I got had a "color change tip" to ensure that there was enough urine to do a test; apparently I didn't have enough and only got the thing 1/2 changed. I know the test didn't work because there is no line in the control window......so, can i pee on this stick again or do I have to use a whole new one? I'm guessing a new one...but, WAHHHAAAAHHAA......I wanted to know. I'm off to drink a great big glass of water; maybe that'll do it! I'll update again later! Hope you are all having a great weekend so far!!!!

Update #1

Well,
A/F is scheduled to arrive today and so far no tinge of pink on the TP. I don't know if I am preggers or not, but I certainly don't feel very good. I'm tired, achy and feel as if A/F is on her way. BUT, PMS and pregnancy often display the same signs so there is a chance I may be. I have to say that on Thursday evening, I took a HPT and it looked like there was a very faint line there. I kept examining the damn test and then I thought I was seeing things and threw it away. So, who knows. That was 3 days early and it was in the evening after I had just took a pee; so I'm thinking that the HCG levels were either not there at all or were just very minute. If I don't get A/F by 4 pm ( I normally get it when I pee first thing in the A.M) I'm going to re-test and keep my fingers crossed. John doesn't think that I am since we've only done it twice, but I informed him that all it takes is once...LOL. He said that if I'm preggers he's going to hunt down the guy who knocked me up....LOL. We'll I'm off to finish cleaning house. Will update later on tonight what happens.......

And the journey begins...

I talked before about John and I adding a second addition to our family. We "tried" my last cycle and I am anxiously awaiting the day I can take an OTC test ( A/F is supposed to arrive Saturday) to see if our efforts paid off. I'm just so excited, I have butterflies in my tummy. I should say that I don't feel pregnant but...stranger things have happened. But, I'll keep you all posted when I find something out and we'll definitely still be trying if this isn't the month. I gotta run!

Prayer Request

I will update a bit later as I'm pressed for time ( need to get off to work-yay!) but I wanted to quickly ask those of you who read to say a quick prayer for one of Chey's classmates. The little girl is very sick and is currently in the hospital. Since her condition is so rare in children they are treating her as a "medical marvel" as they search for answers. Since it is so rare, there is only one doctor who seems to have answers and he is located in New York. Doctors here have only given Nikki a few years ( at best) to live, so please pray for some clarity for the doctor in New York and for the sanity of her parents. Please also pray that this little girl winds up leading a relatively normal and happy life.

Thanks,
Katrina

Wow!

What an amazing few days. Work has been going better, Chey has been better and things at home have been getting better.

Over the weekend Chey and I went up to Wisconsin. It is so nice and so relaxing and I'm so glad that we'll have somewhere to go and enjoy the weather from here on out. On Sunday, John called me to ask me if we had about $100 to spare. I asked him why and he said that the people at the sidejob he was working on had a bunch of patio pavers left over from their project and said that if John hauled them away, he could have them. They also gave him an unopened can of deck "paint". He said that all he needed was money for the gravel base and some sand. I almost wet my pants with excitement and since I got my first paycheck on Friday, told him that the money was there and to go ahead and get it started. By the time Chey and I got back into town, he had the patio almost completely finished. He had yesterday off so he completed the patio (for the most part; little odds and ends need to be tied up) and he painted our deck. The deck isn't exactly the color I had hoped; but the paint was free so it's perfect. All that needs to be done is some edging and some planting. But, the planting will have to wait. I'd like to explain why, but it's way to complex to even get into. We have so much brick leftover that we're not exactly sure what to do with it. I'm thinking we may make a flowerbed or something but I'm not in any hurry for that and wouldn't want to "waste" the bricks. We'll figure it out.

I have today and tomorrow off and my 'rents are coming over today to "break in" the new patio. We're going to grill out. I invited a few friends from Chey's school over and the gal from work so it should be fun. Then, we'll head out to see some fireworks a few towns over. Chey is so excited about that.

His mom took Chey yesterday evening so I was able to throw together a few "no-bake" pies and get my house cleaned up. It amazes me how much I am able to get done when Chey is gone.

Well, that's it for now. Enjoy your 4th!!!!!!!!
